Got the chance to finally stop in to Hick and Frog. Well worth the wait. Food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully on the plate. If you have not had the chance to stop by try this place, you really need to. Looking forward to stopping back there soon. Oh! Dont forget to try desert!The only hard part is deciding on which one to choose. Thank you chef, Anne and staff for the experience.

The sandwich, salad and even the tea was thoughtfully executed. A peaceful atmosphere and the clean white lines of a classic ice cream parlor. Really nice.

Delicious, high-quality food!! This is one of Longview’s finest restaurants by far. Food is always exceptionally prepared and the flavor combinations are awesome. Love that the ingredients are so fresh and well-balanced. Highly recommend!

Everything I have had here has been great. The menu is super limited. I do get miffed that when you pay after ordering the machine wants you to tip....

It had nice desserts. It had good, natural lighting and great service and environment, which makes it a good place to hang out on a casual day. Calm atmosphere.

A cute little eatery in the heart of Longview. Provides a wide variety of delicious foods. From pastries and toffee, to ramen noodle soup. They have a wonderful creme brulee and vanilla cheesecake if you can get it. The even have a small selection of wine.

I've been wanting to try Hick & Frog and finally got to try it out today ... and it was FABULOUS! I had the Croque Monsieur with side salad. The sandwich was fantastic - one of the best Croque Monsieurs I've ever had. Chocolate mousse for dessert was fabulous as well - not too sweet with a dollop of cream on top. Loved that every table was full at lunch on a Wednesday, too. I will definitely be back!

Super service and great chow. The creme brulee was delicious, and my family equally enjoyed their various desserts. I got a salad with candied walnuts and cranberries that was Simply Delicious! So sorry it's closing

WONDERFUL place for a DELICIOUS dinner from a custom rotating menu, served by some really nice, great people. A true gem of a restaurant experience hidden in little ol' Longview. You gotta try them out!

Great little place. Fun experience

The Gochujang Crispy Chicken Bowl was very good, but it had a little too much rice and not enough chicken. My girlfriend had the Ramen Noodle Bowl with Pork Belly and she could not stop raving about it. The modern decor gives the diner a sharp and clean look, and it has a friendly, small-town feel to it. We will definitely return!

Very cute French Bistro. The food is delicious and the chef is very sweet. Definitely would recommend paying a visit here.

Great food with a friendly quiet atmosphere. Loved the feel of the restaurant and all the food looked, smelled and tasted amazing. I can see how this could become someone's favorite little spot. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious food. The chef is amazing, the portions are very generous, and the flavor is incredible. The staff went out of their way to host our large group - staying open late just for us. It was so special. They will obviously go out of their way to make your experience pleasurable. You will not regret visiting Hick and Frog!

My first visit here and words can't say enough about this place, food is great and my favorite is the bread pudding, also Joey's favorite, thanking for having this place.

Love love loved this place. A great little French bistro right in the heart of downtown. Chef prepared meal, dessert, and drink for under $20. Two thumbs up.

We enjoyed our lunch here very much. The food was unique and fresh. One of the dishes we had tasted like sushi only it was in a bowl. I would describe the food here as having a Mediterranean flare. It's like a little Mediterranean bistro. They have excellent fresh tasting water. The place is clean and the staff is extra friendly. Great place. We will be going back.

Awesome definitely a must have

The Frenchwoman and Texan met in college. She had graduated from Cordon Bleu to follow her dream of being a chef. In Longview, Texas they fell on love and opened a bistro her husband named. The love story and odd name don't begin to describe the quality of the food. I had something called Pork Larb, ground locally-sourced pork served over perfect rice with pickled red onions, cucumbers unfamiliarly but deliciously marinated. My wife had a potato hash with bacon and a fried egg. Everything is local, organic, and delicious. Light, airy interior, very comfortable Check hours before you go. Some weekdays open 11 to 6:30. Open to 9 something on Saturdays, closed Sundays & Mondays. Most highly recommended.
